Lebanon eyes stronger economic relations with Mexico
(MENAFN) Lebanon expressed willingness to expand its relations with Mexico in the area of private sector, aiming to strengthen economic cooperation.
The statement has been made by head of the Beirut Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamad Choucair in talks with Mexican Ambassador to Lebanon Jose Ignacio Madrazo.
The Lebanese official stated: "there are multiple opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries and it is important to set a framework for communication between the private sectors of Lebanon and Mexico."
The chamber also confirmed the two Lebanese and Mexican sides to have reached an agreement on the significance of boosting low-level trade between them.
Choucair further stated "we call upon Mexico to facilitate the export of high-quality Lebanese products to its market."
