Saudi Arabia committed to realize oil market demand
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia affirmed its determination to meet the demand for its oil market, stressing that it will avoid scarcity in oil.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) received a vow from Saudi Arabia of being "committed, capable and willing" to realize oil demand.
The statement was made by Saudi energy minister Khalid Al-Falih during a conference, as cited OPEC secretary-general Mohammed Barkindo.
The OPEC secretary-general assured that Saudi Arabia is still fully prepared to realize the demand of the market.
Barkindo added "as OPEC, we remain focused on our common objectives," noting that the Kingdom has "a healthy spare capacity to serve as a buffer against any emergency."
