Jordan grants RAI Energy contract for solar project
(MENAFN) Jordan was announced to have granted RAI Energy International Inc a contract for the development its solar project, which is being constructed with a 50MW capacity.
The Jordanian Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (MEMR) was confirmed to have picked the renewables developer, located in Silicon Valley, for the photovoltaic (PV) project.
Jordan Solar Two is planned to be established in Ma'an municipality, with the PV facility expected to be launch next year.
The Jordan Solar Two is also likely to be all set for operation in 2020, one year after it breaks ground, with a capacity to meet the needs of 40,000 households.
