(MENAFN) Egypt is seeking by the end of 2020 to achieve 9 percent in the country's inflation, recording 3 percent up or down.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is looking to reach stability when it comes to prices within the medium term, its Deputy Governor Lubna Helal announced.

According to the official, the policy of CBE is founded on a boost in exports, with a decline in imports in order to develop the labor market.

CBE's policy, its official further added, is paying extra attention on entrepreneurship as well as integrating the informal economy into the formal one.
