Saudi Arabia, Iraq review trade, oil cooperation
(MENAFN) Iraq explored with Saudi Arabia ways to strengthen their cooperation in a range of domains, mainly in the oil market.
During a phone conversation, Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi told Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud that he is keen on expanding trade and oil relations.
Both sides addressed "expanding relations of cooperation between the two countries in all fields and enhance chances of security and stability in the (Middle East) region," the Iraqi prime minister's office reported.
Saudi King Salman, according to the statement, also voiced the commitment of Saudi Arabia to back Iraq on various levels.
