    Morocco's OCP signs USD90.2m deal for sulphuric acid plant set up

    (MENAFN) Moroccan phosphate producer OCP penned an USD90.2 million agreement with Finnish mining technology firm Outotec for the establishment of a sulphuric acid plant that will develop fertilizer.

    Media reports revealed the planned sulphuric acid plant to have been set to be constructed close to a massive production site for OCP in Jorf Lasfar.

    Under the contract, Finland's company will be providing engineering, procurement and construction services within its sulphur burning system.

    Will plant will be including developed proprietary technologies, covering HEROS heat recovery system along with a converter, absorption towers and an acid distribution system.
