Lebanese digital transformation plan to see Tsinghua Holdings help
(MENAFN) Lebanon will receive assistance from China-based Tsinghua Holdings in its plans to achieve digital transformation, declared Minister of State for Information Technology Adel Afiouni.
Speaking to Xinhua, the Lebanese minister confirmed "Tsinghua Holdings expressed great interest in helping us in digital technology transformation. They have expertise in the area since they did a lot of similar projects for governments around the world."
This comes during a meeting between the minister and a Tsinghua Holdings delegation that was held to mull over means to strengthen collaboration.
During the meeting, Afiouni revealed that he explored a possible project to establish a research and development center in the country.
He added "our aim is to attract Lebanese research centers to support the capabilities of our youths."
