Tunisia to secure harvest through drones
(MENAFN) Tunisian minister of agriculture, water resources and fisheries Samir Taieb declared the country to be planning to secure agricultural land through the use of drones.
Interior Minister Hichem Fourati engaged in talks with the Tunisian ministers on matters concerning blazes damaging a number of hectares of agricultural lands.
National grain harvest will be secured through using drone technology, which is suggested to make the process facilitated.
Taieb stated: "for the first time, drones will be used to secure the harvest and monitor the culprits suspected to be at the origin of the fires."
He further added that Tunisia by now provided training to forty youths for the drone usage.
