Return on investment for KEF locks 56 percent

(MENAFN) Private equity fund Kuwait Education Fund (KEF) was revealed to have witnessed its return on investment (ROI) log 56 percent.

KAMCO Investment Company revealed the figure in a statement it issued on Monday, saying that this was achieved since the KEF was set up back in April 2007.

KEF was also able to distribute cash dividends valued at USD19 million to the unitholders in 2017, KAMCO affirmed.

It added: "despite the difficult and volatile economic conditions during the financial crisis, the prudent investment decisions taken by KEF's Fund Manager and the successful exit strategies that target securing the Fund's capital, have contributed to the profitable returns on investments to its unitholders."
