Postal services to refurbish in Somalia
(MENAFN) Somalia was announced to have decided to launch an overhaul project on its postal service, aiming to commence sending and receiving activities of international mail services.
On Wednesday, the Somali government and international community commemorated the World Post Day, as it pledged to commence the plan.
Postal operator of Somalia entered its last phases of re-launching the outbound mail ahead of this year's end to achieve a breakthrough, stated Minister for Post, Telecom & Technology Abdi Ashur Hassan.
Hassan added "the ministry is working to make sure the postal service regains its lost glory and become the preferred logistics, e-government and payment services provider in Somalia."
