Turkish businesses to make millions of protective masks to fight COVID-19
(MENAFN) According to a business leader, Turkish businesses are heading towards making millions of protective masks and disinfectants available to fight the coronavirus.
As said by Ismail Gulle, head of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly, the aim is to begin with making 1 million masks a day and finally stand at 40 million a month, in particular for Turkish healthcare workers.
To provide the requirements of healthcare, professionals together with several chemical and textile companies, exporters are releasing a national production mobilization to redress supply lack of masks and disinfectants.
Turkish exporters are aware of the seriousness of COVID-19, promising support Turkey"s "heroes," its healthcare workers, according to Ismail Gulle.
