    Turkey's benchmark stock index closes week down 3.72 percent

    (MENAFN) In comparison with Turkey's benchmark stock index's last close, on Friday, it closed the week at 88,125.04 points, which is a drop of 3.72 percent from the previous close.


    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index began the day at 91,833.88 points, starting from the daily close, it fell 3,402.55 points from Thursday's close of 91.527,59 points.


    The index stood among 88,125.04 points and 92,299.34 points during the day; the total market worth of the BIST 100 was around USD94.37 billion by market close, with a daily trading volume of USD1.7billion.


    On the last transaction day of the week, 12 stocks on the index climbed, 85 dropped and 3 stayed unchanged compared to Thursday.
