Turkish defensive clothes, mask exports strike 573 Million USD
(MENAFN) On Monday July 6 the Istanbul Apparel Exporters' Association (IHKIB) Turkey's defensive clothes and mask exports arrived at 573.4 million USD in the first half of this year in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mustafa Gultepe the head of IHKIB stated that "We saw a record high year-on-year growth in the figure with 986 percent in January-June,".
Gultepe stated that Turkish corporations hurried works to meet up the strong worldwide require for masks and defensive outfit.
Gultepe stated that the country exported 144.7 million USD values of masks and 428.7 USD value of defensive outfit in the first six months of this year.
