    Iran: Business rises

    (MENAFN)
    Mining and Trade Ministry of Iran has gone on record, stating that based on recent research that was done on the first half of the Iranian calendar year, from the 20th of March till the 21st of September, they have given out 18,766 permits for launching new manufacturing divisions in the country, which portrays an increase of 47 percent compared to the previous year.

    The majority of approved permits were linked to food production. There were two provinces that got the top amount of permits, which were Khorsan Razavi, and Semnan Qom.

    The head of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) declared that 670 inactive business divisions all around the country have become active since the start of the Iranian Calendar year.

    Mohsen Salehinia commented on the matter: "Despite all the limitations, we are currently witnessing an increase in production in some units, for example, those active in the field of home appliances; also, according to the plans made and by solving the problems in the way of the production and industrial units, we will realize the motto of "Surge in Production" by the end of this year."
