Turkey, Qatar sign 15 deals on investment, trade, development
(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Qatar and Turkey have inked 15 fresh deals to enhance collaboration between both nations.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of Turkey along with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar took part in the signing event of 12 of the deals in different fields, that involve trade, investment, development, culture, youth, sports, diplomacy, health, religious affairs, as well as the media.
One of the key signed agreements between both countries were, a memorandum of understanding on disaster and emergency management and a deal to form institutional collaboration between Turkey’s Antalya Diplomacy Forum and Qatar’s Doha Forum.
The Turkish Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) as well as the Qatar Development Bank also signed a memorandum of understanding.
