(MENAFN) Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council has forced Oil Ministry to take the needed actions for raising the volume of the nation’s petro-refineries to more than three million barrels a day (bpd) in the Seventh Five-Year National Development Plan (2021-2026).
According to a report by Shana, the verdict was made in an unexpected conference of the council on Tuesday which was hosted under the chairmanship of Sadegh Amoli-Larijani and with the attendance of the secretary and most of the members of the council.
In this conference, the association continued to talk about and study the general procedures of the Seventh Five-Year National Development Strategy.
The assembly was also joined by Oil Minister Javad Oji and his assistants, the chief and deputy chief of the Planning and Budget Organization (PBO), the chief of the Parliament’s Economic Committee, the chief of the Research Center of the Parliament, as well as the chief of Department of Environment.
