Saudi commerce minister: Exchange remedies program to attract investment
(MENAFN) An exchange remedies plan for worldwide exchange is prepared to attract investment and grow the effectiveness of local output, as stated by the Saudi Minister of Commerce Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.
The exchange remedies are going to also support deal with possible damage subsequent to a surge in imports by forcing actions in contradiction of these shipments at the nation’s customs borders, the minister underlined.
Al-Qasabi who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade underlined that the exchange remedies system is going to participate in a vital role in protecting the Kingdom’s national industry from the loss that comes as an outcome of the deserted and subsidized imports.
Additionally, the system is going to also guarantee sustaining the nation’s shipments that are subject to trade remedies actions, the minister highlighted.
The minister mentioned that the cabinet’s agree on associated to the system is also set to establish additional sectors and create job prospects, all along with the aims and targets of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, as reported by Saudi Press Agency.
