    Car production surges 15 percent in 8 months YoY

    (MENAFN) Car production in Iran surged by 15 percent throughout the opening eight months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-November 21), in comparison to the same span of time in the last year, a representative with the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade declared.

    Abdollah Tavakoli Lahijani, the director-general of the ministry’s car industries office, asserted that the Iranian automakers were able to produce 750,000 automobiles throughout the opening eight months of the current year.

    “We can now say that the production trend stabilization has been formed in the country's automobile industry”, the official noted and voiced hope that following the restoration of the output trend, the improvement of additional platforms and the output of quality and competitive output in the car sector of the nation need to earn higher hype, as this is believed to be vital in the second phase of the transformative plan of the Ministry of Industry, Mining, and Trade.
