    Saudi Arabia hosts Dhahran Expo featuring 100 companies from 35 nations

    (MENAFN) The Dhahran Expo in Saudi Arabia became a bustling hub for more than 100 companies from 35 countries during the International Conference and Exhibition of Algae held from June 4-6. The event, organized in conjunction with the International Fisheries Exhibition (SIMEC), offered an immersive under-the-sea experience for participants.

    Spanning three days, the conference featured 16 workshops held in a dedicated interactive space. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with experts, explore informative videos, and indulge in seafood delicacies. The workshops covered a wide range of topics related to algae and fish, offering valuable insights into the latest advancements and practices in these industries.

    Under the esteemed patronage of Eastern Province Governor Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture, and the National Livestock and Fisheries Development Program, the exhibition attracted global attention. This prestigious gathering aimed to bring together expertise from around the world to drive innovation and progress in the food processing sector, enhance human capabilities, localize cutting-edge algae and aquaculture technologies, and elevate the algae and fisheries industries to new heights.

    Abdul Majeed bin Saad Alshehri, the chairman of the conference and SIMEC, expressed his pride in hosting this significant global event. He highlighted the collaborative efforts of international experts and their potential to revolutionize the food processing industries.
