Tunisia's trade deficit hits 15 percent increase Jan-July

(MENAFN) Tunisia was unveiled to have seen greater trade deficit from January throughout July in this year, hitting 15 percent.

The widened trade deficit has been registered despite witnessing a boost by 23.3 percent in Tunisia's exports sector, not helping on the level of commercial exchanges with several countries.

Tunisia' overall trade deficit has reached an estimation of about USD3.683 billion after being near TND8628 million in the first nine months of last year.

The trade deficit in the country has mostly been driven by an increase in oil prices seen in international markets.
