    Pakistan calls for stronger energy cooperation with Iran

    (MENAFN) Pakistan's petroleum and natural resources minister urged for Iran to further develop its cooperation with his country in the field of energy.

    The call has been made by Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoust.

    The minister stressed, as reported radio.gov.pk, that Pakistan is still completely dedicated to the Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline project, and is not affected by the pressures of other countries.

    Iran's envoy also suggested boosting ties with Pakistan in the area of energy, mainly the IP gas pipeline project.
