    Saudi Arabia eyes USD427b investments via national plan

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia is launching a national industrial development and logistics plan as it set a target to generate USD427 billion of investments.

    Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih confirmed that programme to be looking to strengthen various fields, including industry, mining, energy and logistics.

    According to the minister, "we will witness the signing of contracts worth SR200 billion during the launch of the programme with more than 330 initiatives under its umbrella, one third of which will achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030."

    Al-Falih added that "there will be a large private sector participation from outside the Kingdom alongside a large share of the private sector from inside Saudi Arabia."
