    Kuwait exports USD693m worth of non-oil goods

    (MENAFN) Kuwait has reportedly reached USD683 million in its non-oil exports last year, marking a 63 percent jump.

    Kuwait's exports of non-oil commodities to Egypt stood at USD264 million last year, compared to the USD18 million seen a year earlier.

    Figures were unveiled by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Trade and Industry in a press release it issued on Wednesday.

    According to the ministry, Kuwait mostly exported to Egypt to turn it into one of its top destinations for last year.

    Meanwhile, Iraq earned itself the second spot to import USD59 million worth of non-oil products from Kuwait, a 53.3 percent decline compared to 2017 results.
