    450,000 small projects in Egypt financed by World Bank

    (MENAFN) According to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the World Bank has financed almost 450,000 small projects in Egypt; "these projects offered more than 640,000 jobs nationwide."


    A deal to fund small projects worth USD200 million was inked on Tuesday with the World Bank in her gathering with its delegation, as said by Nevine Gamea, head of the Egyptian ministry.


    Egypt is keen on structuring successful partnership with the World Bank to attain the goals of the 2030 Sustainable Development pushed by its economic improvements started in 2016.


    The Egyptian cabinet said in a statement on Friday that, the resent collaboration portfolio among Egypt and the World Bank is expected at USD8 billion.
