    Oman money supply growth accelerates

    (MENAFN) The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) said that the Sultanate?s money supply increased for the fourth month in a row to $21.5 billion in March, up from $20.99 billion, Reuters reported. The foreign assets of the central bank also grew for the fourth month in a row to $13.01 billion in March up from $12.5 billion in February. The commercial banks in Oman extended a total credit of $25.9 billion in March up from $25.8 million in February. It is worth money supply includes time and savings deposits, margins and foreign currency.
