Internet Retail Banking - Who is eligible for BBK Internet Retail Banking?
- All BBK account holders can access their account through Internet Retail Banking.
- In the login page, your Customer ID is your Civil ID or ID given to you by the bank
- Is there any charge for this service?
- There are no registration or service charges. Currently, Internet Retail Banking service is free with all accounts and CrediMax cards. However, all minimum balance/deposit amount requirements of the relevant accounts will need to be maintained.
- How safe are my requests/transactions on Retail Banking?
You can be assured of complete privacy when you use BBK Bank' Retail Banking facility. We have built several checks to safeguard your Internet Banking transactions. Before you gain access to your account, you will be asked to enter your unique customer ID and ePIN to verify your identity. To maximize the security and confidentiality of your transactions, your password is not accessible to anyone, not even bank employees.
When you bank with us on the Internet, you are always in a secure zone. To ensure the security of your transactions, we use a technology called Secured Socket Layer (SSL), which involves scrambling of the information between you and the Bank. If an unauthorized user tries to access your account by keying in various combinations while trying to guess your ePIN, your account will automatically get locked. These features work together to maximise the security of your banking transactions
- What do you mean by “real time” transaction?
- Internet Retail Banking is designed to execute requests immediately.. All the balances that are displayed to you are as of that instant and would cover transactions done by you over any of our channels.
Internet Retail Banking is designed to execute requests authorized by you immediately. Services such as transfers within BBK accounts, Batelco and Zain payments and CrediMax credit card bill payments, will automatically debit your account and credit the beneficiary account.

- How can I login if I have forgotten my ePIN?
- What is an Authorization Password?
- Authorization Password is the Second level Password required adding or maintaining Beneficiaries. The password should be 6-8 digits in length and numeric.
- I have forgotten my Login ePIN or Authorization Password. What do I do?
In case you have forgotten your ePIN, you can easily create a new one by using the ePIN Online Generation or visiting the nearest branch to request one.
As for the authorization password, only you can request this type of password by accessing Internet Retail Banking and select Authorization Password located under Preferences.
- What is ‘Instruction Reference Number’ in Beneficiary Maintenance?
- Instruction Reference Number is used to uniquely identify a Beneficiary across all the channels like Telebanking, Internet Retail banking, etc. Instruction Reference Number is 3 digits in size, should be 1 to 999 and unique.
- How can I view any recent activity in Internet Retail Banking?
- After login, select Inquiries then Transactional History. Select the type of channel, type of activity and status of the activity in a specified time
- What is the difference between Funds Transfer and Preset Instructions?
- Funds Transfer is transferring funds between your accounts in real-time.
- Preset Instrucitions is transferring fundsfrom your personal account to any other account within BBK, Bahrain or abroad.
- How can I personalize my theme?
- After selecting your desired color theme in Personalization, please Logout and re-login into the system.
- How do I access Arabic Version of Internet Retail Banking?
- After entering Internet Retail Banking, select Preferences then Personalization. There, Select Language as Arabic. Then Logout and re-login into the system.
- This will log you out of the Internet Banking site and take you back to the website. As a practice and security precaution, we recommend that you use the Logout option when you want to exit the Internet Banking services instead of closing the internet browser. This will ensure that your session with our servers expires and security is maintained. The option is located at the top menu of each page or in the Right side menu.
ATM - What should I do if the BBK ATM retains my BBK Debit card?
- In case you have used a Branch's ATM, then submit a request at the same branch and retrieve it on the same day.
As for offsite ATM, you could retrieve it after 2-3 working days from the main branch. You can collect it from the branch of your choice by submitting a request through the branch or feedback@bbkonline.com
- What should I do if the ATM does not suspense any cash?
- If you were using a Branch's ATM, then submit a request with the receipt.
- What should I do in the case of a lost or stolen BBK Debit card?
- To report a lost or stolen card, please call our 24 hours authorization desk on +973 17207485 or +973 17207428.
- ATM stands for Automated Teller Machine . It is a device used by bank customers to conduct financial transactions after entering their Debit Card and PIN.
