    Germany opens trade office in Iraq's Kurdistan

    (MENAFN) Germany's Deputy Minister of Commerce Karl-Ernst Brauner has inaugurated the German Commercial and Industrial Relations Office in Iraq Kurdistan region, Kuna reported. He said in a statement after his meeting with several Kurdistan officials that the aim of opening commercial and industrial relations office, is to provide facilities to German investors and traders in Kurdistan. Brauner is being accompanied by a trade delegation that includes a number of senior German traders and investors. Observers believe that the office in Kurdistan, with the cooperation of the German Consulate General, will provide services to merchants, industrialists and businessmen in the province of Kurdistan. 20 countries have established diplomatic relations at various levels with Irbil, including Japan, the UK, Russia, Iran and France.
