    Qatari bank provisions rise 1.36% in May

    (MENAFN) A report issued by the Central Bank of Qatar showed that provisions made by Qatari banks rose 1.36 percent month-on-month in May after falling 2 precent in the previous month, while credit growth rose 3.5 percent, QNA reported. Total provisions in the world's largest natural gas exporter reached $1.64 billion at the end of May, up from $1.61 billion in the previous month. Bank loans remained flat at $69.7 billion.
