    Job vacancies in the UAE rise 45% in Q2

    (MENAFN) A research conducted by the global recruitment firm.FiveTen Group said that the number of job vacancies in the UAE grew 45 percent in the second quarter of 2010 compared to the prior year period, Khaleej Times reported. The report said that vacancies rose 33 percent in the second quarter of this year compared to the first quarter. The report attributed this increase to the banking and finance sectors employing again and also to government investment in infrastructure creating jobs in IT and telecoms fields. According to the report, number of interviews taking place in the second quarter rose 113 percent compared to the previous quarter due to firms investing in their search for employees.
