    EgyptAir to increase its yearly profit

    (MENAFN) Chairman and chief executive officer of EgyptAir said that airline aims to increase annual profit by almost a third following the global economic crisis, Gulf News reported. The chairman said that the firm looks to make a profit of $132 million during the year up to June 2011, compared to573 million pounds in the year of 2009-10. According to the chairman, the airline is expanding its fleet as they are currently expecting four Boeing 737-800 aircraft by the end of this year in addition to two 777-300 aircraft in November and December. EgyptAir operatees scheduled passenger and freight services to more than 70 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. It is the flag carrier airline of Egypt and a member of Star Alliance.
