(MENAFN) Syria and Iraq have signed five memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on protecting industrial and trade property, boosting exports, youths, and sports, Sana reported. The two countries signed the MoUs at the end of the 7th term of the Syrian-Iraqi joint ministerial cooperation committee. They agreed to increase cooperation between their trade bodies and figures and to hold seminars to promote products and available investment opportunities. They also agreed on canceling the five percent fee imposed on Syrian products exported to Iraq.
