    Jordan records 5.6% inflation rate in November

    (MENAFN) Jordan's Department of Statistics revealed that the Kingdom's inflation rate during the month of November of the current year jumped to 5.6 percent, compared to the corresponding period a year earlier, Reuters reported. According to data, Jordan's inflation has picked up from 3.9 per cent in January this year, as a result of a rise in commodities and oil prices. The Kingdom's consumer price index (CPI) during the month of November increased 0.1 percent, month on month, driven by a rise in transport, fuel and some major food and consumer items, data showed.
