    Etihad Airways to boost frequency on Europe routes

    (MENAFN) James Hogan, Chief Executive Officer at Abu Dhabi's flagship carrier; Etihad Airways, announced that during the upcoming summer, it will increase frequencies on routes from Abu Dhabi to the European cities of Paris, Milan, Geneva, Brussels and Manchester, Arabian Business reported. According to Hogan, Etihad will fly twice daily to Paris, increase its Manchester flights to ten weekly and begin daily flights to Geneva and Milan from June, whereas its Brussels service will increase from six to eight flights per week. The new schedule will increase the airline's sub four-hour connections by 50 percent, and by October 2011, 74 percent of Etihad's 66 destinations will be served by a daily flight, revealed the CEO. In order to support its increased flight frequencies, Etihad is poised to take delivery of three A330-300 aircrafts and two B777-300ER aircrafts in the summer of 2011, Hogan explained.
