    ACC-Simplex wins deal to build India's tallest tower

    (MENAFN) The Managing Director at Lodha Developers, Abhisheck Lodha, said that the company awarded an estimated $98.7 million contract to a joint venture between Beirut-based Arabian Construction Co (ACC) and India's Simplex Infrastructures for building India's tallest tower, World One, reported Gulf News. Lodha said that the building would be 442-metre tall, consisting of 117-storeys, and it would be considered the tallest building in India and the second tallest residential complex in the world. World One would be completed in 2015, he added. Lodha added that the tower would include private pools, home theatre lounges, 270-degree views and outdoor Jacuzzis. In addition, it would include an 18,000 square meter elevated park and an observation lounge 305 meters above the ground which would make World One India's most luxurious destination, the Director said.
