    UK cancels arms exports licenses to Bahrain, Libya

    (MENAFN) The United Kingdom reported cancellation of over fifty arms export licenses for Bahrain and Libya after the Arab countries witnessed violent clashes between protesters and security forces, leading to the death of tens of civilians, reported Arabian Business, UK reported also that the canceled licenses include the exporting of tear gas and ammunition, both of which were used in killing civilians in these clashes. The British government elaborated saying that the number of canceled licenses totaled to 24 individual licenses and 20 open licenses in Bahrain only. It is worth noting that in the past two days, the Bahraini police shut fire on protestors wounding over 290 people and killing six people.
