Oman Air to fly to Moscow, Khartoum

(MENAFN) Oman Air's chief officer for corporate affairs said that the airline is planning an expansion by flying for the first time to Moscow and Khartoum by June of 2011, reported Arabian Business. The CEO said that the airline would start with Russia, as the collaboration between the two countries is increasing, which makes it very important to provide a direct flight. He also said that the carrier had ordered three new aircrafts, two Embraer 175s to be delivered in March and another Airbus A330 200 to be delivered in May. Georgiou said Oman Air now flies to 40 destinations in the Gulf, East Africa, Europe and Asia.
