Aramco boosts supply to Japanese refiners

(MENAFN) Officials from fuel producers in Japan said that 2 Japanese refiners signed deals with Saudi Aramco, the world's largest state-owned oil company, to supply them with full volumes of crude oil in April 2011, reported Arabian Business. The deal includes providing 100 percent of cargoes sold under long-term contracts for a 17th month. In February 2011, Saudi Arabia increased its production by 25,000 barrels a day to 8.425 million units, which is 374,000 barrels more than its goal of 8.051 million. On a different note, Abu Dhabi National Oil Co, the state-run producer in the United Arab Emirates capital, said that it does not plan on changing the 10 percent decrease in supplies of Murban crude to Asian importers in March.
