    Gulf Air gets 2 aircrafts

    (MENAFN) Gulf Air chief executive, Samer Majali, said that the carrier collaborated with a commercial bank as the latter purchased two Airbus 320-200 aircrafts in order to lease them back to Gulf Air, reported gulf Daily News. Majali said that the new aircrafts serve the carrier's purpose of maintaining its position as one of the largest carriers in the Middle East. Majali said that the aircrafts were delivered directly from Airbus to Gulf Air. It is worth noting that Gulf Air is the principal flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Headquartered in Muharraq and adjacent to Bahrain International Airport, the airline operates scheduled services to 45 destinations in 28 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe.
