    Oman Air revenue grows 40%, passengers 38%

    (MENAFN) Oman Air's chief executive, Peter Hill, said that the company's revenues hiked 40 percent as well as a 38 percent increase in number of passengers which stood at 3.3 million in 2010, reported Times of Oman. Hill added that the government of Oman supported the company as it is a national investment by providing USD2.59 million thus increasing the airline's assets to USD947.8 million. It is worth noting that Oman Air added eight new destinations, two new Airbus A330s, a new codeshare agreement with Malaysian Airlines and the carrier became the first airline in the world to offer both GSM mobile phone and broadband connectivity aboard its A330 fleet
