Saudi to generate 66,000 jobs within months

(MENAFN) The Saudi Al-Watan newspaper reported that King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz gave orders that 66,000 fresh jobs should be created across the Kingdom within months, reported Xinhua News. Al-Watan added that the jobs would be distributed over the education and the health sectors, where around 52,000 of the new jobs would be in the education sector. It also said that the orders came as a result of increasing demands from unemployed university graduates and teachers to create jobs and enhance salaries. It is worth noting that Saudi king Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz issued royal decrees in March to boost economic and social sectors in the country that included an increase in minimal wage and a monthly unemployment allowance of USD533.
