    PetroRabigh to resume crude unit

    (MENAFN) Saudi PetroRabigh said that following a maintenance and reparation work, this month, the company would start again the crude oil distillation unit at its 400,000 barrels per day (bpd) refinery, reported Arab News. The company added that it closed the refining complex in Rabigh last April for around two months due to maintenance, adding that by time, the company would bring other units online with the ethane cracker operational again before the end of this month. It also said that in the second quarter, sales would decline due to the shut down, moreover, in the first two weeks of the third quarter; sales of polypropylene would also go down. It is worth noting that PetroRabigh is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Japan's Sumitomo Chemical.
