British Airways to raise Riyadh flights

(MENAFN) British Airways' regional commercial manager Middle East, Paolo De Renzis, said that the carrier would increase the number of its flights to Riyadh from five times a week to six starting later this year, reported Arabian Business. Renzis added that the airline operated eleven flights on weekly basis from Saudi to London Heathrow that include five flights per week from Jeddah. He also said that the raise in British Airways' services to the Kingdom came as a result of increasing demand over flights between the two countries, adding that the additional flights would take effect during the company's winter schedule starting at the end of October. It is worth noting that due to political unrest in Egypt, the carrier cancelled its flights to the country's Sharm El Sheikh resort since the number of passengers declined sharply.
