    Toshiba's 2011 ME's mobile computer sales to grow 20%

    (MENAFN) Toshiba's regional general manager for the Middle East and Africa, Santosh Varghese, said that due to growing demand for the company's tablets and 3D-enabled laptops, in 2011, Toshiba would expect its regional mobile computer sales to grow 20 percent, reported The National. Varghese added that in August, the company would launch its first tablet computer in the region in addition to a laptop with a 3D display that wouldn't require special glasses to view. He also said that the company's tablet computer has a 10-inch screen and ran on Google's Android operating system, moreover, in the next six months, for the region, tablets would reach around 8 percent to 10 percent of the total mobile computing market.
