    Abu Dhabi's H1 non-oil trade with China up 64.24%

    (MENAFN) Abu Dhabi's Department of Economic Development (DED) said that in the year's first half, volume of non-oil trade between the emirate and China surged 64.24 percent to USD587 million from 2010's USD0.35 million, reported Gulf News. The DED added that exports to China reached USD92 million whereas imports in the period reached USD495 million and re-exports reached USD424 million. It also said that due to growing economic ties between the two countries, trade between the UAE and China would be forecasted to reach USD100 billion by the year 2015. It is worth noting that in 2010's first half, Abu Dhabi's imports from China reached USD345 million, whereas its exports reached USD65.8 million.
