    Saudi ISACC sign deal with Jacobs Engineering

    (MENAFN) Calcium Chloride Company's (ISACC) managing director and CEO, Abdulaziz Yahya Al-Muaiyyad, said that the Saudi firm inked a deal with Jacobs Engineering in order to give engineering and project management services for the construction of Jubail's industrial complex, reported Arab News. Al-Muaiyyad added that the project, which would cost USD293 million, would be built in the Second Industrial City in Jubail, moreover, it would be the first in the country and the GCC to manufacture soda ash (sodium carbonate) and calcium chloride. He also said that construction of the facility, which total annual capacity would reach 800,000 tons, would begin before the middle of 2012. It is worth noting that the products manufactured in the facility are used in oil and gas drilling operations and the manufacture of glass and detergents.
