    Saudi Nov oil exports soar to 8.1m bpd

    (MENAFN) Joint Data Initiative (Jodi) reported that last month, Saudi oil exports reached 8.1 million barrels per day (bpd), with an increase of 1.2 million barrels over average daily exports during the January-September period, reported Gulf News. Jodi added that since the country boosted its output to offset oil shortages from Libyan supplies, in 2011's first 9 months, the Kingdom exported an average of 6.9 million bpd. It also said that in June, Saudi increased crude output to 9.8 million bpd, recording the highest level since Jodi records started in 2002. It is worth noting that Saudi crude production in November grew more than 10 million bpd, compared with an average of 9.2 million bpd in the first nine months of the year.
