    Saudi government aim to collect $6.3bn from expat workers next year

    (MENAFN) Arabic publication Okaz reported that by using fees on foreign workers, the Saudi government is setting up to gather $6.3 billion in 2018 while it puts together arrangements to implement a new levy.

    The labor force percentage of Saudis is to settle whether the amount would be collected as it will be gathered from monthly fees of $80 to $107 per worker on private sector companies.

    According to the publication, the government also wants to raise $11.73bn in 2019 while the fees boost to $133 and $160. Moreover, it aims to raise $17.33bn in 2020 once the fees reach up to $187 and $213 per month.
