    Dubai-Japan trade during 2017 first nine months totaled $8.4bn

    (MENAFN) According to Dubai Customs director Ahmed Musabih, in 2017's first nine months, non-oil foreign trade of Dubai with Japan reached $8.4b whereas it arrived at $11.9b in 2016 during the same time.

    The growth of trade and custom relations among Dubai and Japan was discussed during a meeting with Musabih and Japanese consul-general Akima Umezawa.

    The director confirmed "we ensure our trading partners have the finest of customs facilities that give real added value to their active business sectors in Dubai."

    He continued "Dubai Customs is keen to directly engage with all Japanese businesses based in Dubai through our Irtibat link channel, so as to solve any issues they may face and help maximize their performance and trade returns."
