UAE's Air Arabia to launch Saudi Jouf service
(MENAFN) Air Arabia, the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East, announced it is planning to launch a non-stop service to Al Jouf in Saudi Arabia, thus becoming the airline's 11th destination to the Gulf kingdom, with a scheduled flight operating twice a week starting October 26, Arabian Business reported.
"Saudi Arabia is one of our fastest growing markets led by both tourism and business travellers. Al Jouf is a spectacular getaway that connects visitors with the bounty of nature as well as the unique charm of traditional architecture and a rich cultural heritage," Group CEO of Air Arabia said.
Air Arabia, which currently connects to 10 other destinations in the Kingdom including Abha, Dammam, Gassim, Hail, Hofuf, Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, Taif and Yanbu, said that it offers 100 weekly non-stop flights operations to Saudi Arabia from the carriers hubs in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Alexandria.
Air Arabia said that during the January-June period, the carrier increased its route network by adding new routes such as Cairo in Egypt and Antalya in Turkey, with the help of its four hubs in the UAE, Morocco and Egypt.
