Saudi's Dec oil exports to China up to 1.12m bpd

(MENAFN) China General Administration of Customs said that in December, the country's oil imports from Saudi grew to 1.12 million barrels per day (bpd), reported Arab News. The Chinese customs added that the volume recorded an increase of 9.56 percent over 2010's same period, and a rise of 12.6 percent in 2011 over a year earlier at 50.28 million tons, or 1.01 million bpd. It also said that Saudi oil exports to China, the world's second-largest crude buyer after the US, represented around 20 percent of China's total crude oil imports at around 5.08 million bpd. It is worth noting that Saudi was pumping just below record rates of 10 million bpd earlier this month, after a record rate in November at 10.047 million bpd.
